Rickey "$likkmuzik" Offord aka $likk was born & raised in Dallas, TX. At the early age of 4 he started playing drums & by 11 he was playing piano.

By having a christian background & growing up in church Slikk would sit under the musicians at his church & watch them play & self taught himself how to play these instruments, he never took a professional lesson.

Shortly after he began producing & making beats as s teenager for his local peers & got his first break at the age of 19 being discovered by Trickdaddy from Slip & Slide records. Shortly after Slikk produced for artists such as Chingy, Lil Zane, Montell Jordan, etc.

By 2012, along with the help of his mentor, Dallas/LA native Sherwan "Iroc" Charles, Slikk chose to make a life changing move to Hollywood, California to further pursue his music career. After years of hard work, dedication & staying determined he was picked up & discovered by Kenny "babyface" Edmonds at Universal Records, which gave him his big break to produce for platinum award winning artist Ariana Grande. Slikk went on to win an AMA (American music award) with Ariana & also debuted #1 on the billboard 200 charts & selling over a million records with the urban pop artist.

He also went on to produce for Tamar & Toni Braxton, Mario, En vogue, Omarion, Trevor Jackson, etc. With his rising success since his move, Slikk has now been & is currently signed to Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins (Capitol Records) & VP A&R Max Gousse (Virgin EMI Records/Artistry). Since then, Slikk has had the privilege of working & producing for all the top artists in the mainstream music industry such as Rihanna, Justin Beiber, Shakira, Beyoncé etc. although he is now an award winning music producer, Slikk continues to stride for perfection & excellence. Nowhere near content with his success thus far. He's in the studio everyday grinding & continuing to make hit records & living the dream that he never gave up on.
